Conference Team of LASOSU2021, 21 January 2024

The proceedings of LASOSU2021 were first published as an e-book in 2021, and then reprinted as the hybrid edition with electronic and hard copies in January 2024. The decision to publish the second edition stems from the uniqueness and irreplaceability of the proceedings. In conjunction with the refinement of cover page, this revision incorporates additional contents in the form of attachments featuring a new abstract. In addition, presently the pronunciation of the word LASOSU  may be found in the website of Baidu Baike.

The proceedings could be a valuable reference for scientists, students, and technicians working in the field of soil and water conservation. We hope that together, the proceedings pave the way to new products, new approaches, and new ways of looking at our future. Significantly, the accomplishment of the second edition’s publication owes much to the fervent encouragement from conference team experts, Prof. Ning, Prof. Wenlong Wang, and Prof. Paolo Tarolli. The key contributors to the 2nd edition revision include Prof. Xiangzhou Xu, Lu Gao, Mingyang Liu, Yihang Li, and Wenya Ji. Again, we want to thank all those who have contributed to the organization of the Forum.

There will inevitably be omissions in the proceedings of papers, although we have made a great effort. We sincerely welcome any comments and criticisms from those who use it.
